Here is a list of the technical specifications of the PN-40

Memory & Storage

Tracks, Routes, and Waypoints, Maps

  • 10 saved tracks, 10,000 points per track.
  • 1 active track, 10,000 points. Track points can recorded based on Time or Distance.
  • 50 routes with a maximum of xx turns per route.
  • 1,000 user defined Waypoints/Geocaches. Waypoint Comments: 800 characters. Geocache Comments: 15,000 characters.
  • 256 map files, 16 used internally for Base/Regional maps, 240 available to user.
  • With current Firmware (2.6RTM), all tracks, routes, and waypoints are stored within the private area of internal flash memory.
