Info Fields
What are Info Fields?
Info Fields appear on the bottom half of your screen and provides you with vital information such as speed, coordinates, ETA, etc. Completely customizable from the Map Page, Compass Page, Trip Info Page (when in Tracking Mode), and the Routing Info Page (when in Routing Mode).
Below, the Trip Info Page is being used for an example (more examples to come later). From one of those three pages, hit the Menu Button, scroll to Info Fields and push Enter. There are currently 44 different Info Fields to choose from. Terms used to describe each Field are listed below alphabetically.
Arranging Info Fields
The "Arrange Info Fields" menu option allows you to select how the Info fields will be displayed.

Hide/Show Info Fields
On the Map Page, the Info Fields can be "Hidden", or completely turned off. This allows all of the screen to be used for displaying of the map.
To Hide: Highlight "Info Fields", press ENTER. Highlight "Hide Info Fields", press ENTER. To Show: Highlight "Info Fields", press ENTER. Highlight "Show Info Fields", press ENTER.
Changing Info Fields
And of course, any of the the info fields can be changed.
After highlighting "Change Info Fields", press ENTER. This will highlight the info field label. Use the rocker pad (UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT) to select (highlight) the info field you'd like to change, press ENTER. Use UP/DOWN rocker pad buttons to select a new info field parameter from list, then press ENTER. When done making changes, press QUIT to exit change mode.

B
- Back on Course - When routing, this will indicate the direction of travel needed to get back on course.
- Battery Life - Battery life left presented in a % value.
- Bearing - When routing, this will indicate the direction of travel from your current location to the destination.
C
- Coordinates:Primary - The current GPS location, cursor position, or map center. Coordinates are set up from the Unit Page
- Coordinates:Secondary - The current GPS location, cursor position, or map center. Coordinates are set up from the Unit Page
- Course - The direction of travel from the starting location to the destination while routing.
D
- Device Odometer - The total mileage traveled in all trips prior to any reset.
- Distance to Finish - The distance from your current location to the finish point.
- Distance to Next Stop - The distance from your current location to the next stop.
- Distance to Next Turn - The distance from your current location to the next turn.
E
- Elevation:Altimeter - The elevation based on the the barometric altimeter sensor. You will see a red exclamation point if the altimeter is calibrating (happens when Auto Calibrate Altimeter is enabled). If you see dashes, that means that you have the barometric altimeter sensor disabled. SeeCompass & Altimeter for details.
- Elevation:GPS - The calculated elevation based on the information being received from the satellites. This value is only available when you have a 3-D fix.
- Elevation:Maximum - The maximum elevation achieved prior to any reset. This value appears to be based on the maximum Elevation:GPS reading.
- Elevation:Minimum - The minimum elevation achieved prior to any reset. This value appears to be based on the minimum Elevation:GPS reading.
- ETA at Finish - The Estimated Time of Arrival at the route finish. ETA is based on the current device time, not on the local time at the destination.
- ETA at Next Turn - The Estimated Time of Arrival at the next turn in the route. ETA is based on the current device time, not on the local time at the turn.
- ETA at Next Stop - The Estimated Time of Arrival at the next stop in the route. ETA is based on the current device time, not on the local time at the next stop.
F
- Finish - The label at your finishing point. This will appear in the route directions.
G
- GPS Accuracy - The calculated accuracy of the GPS.
- GPS Status - The current status of your GPS device, displayed either No Fix, 2-D or 3-D.
H
- Heading - Your current direction of travel. You will see a red exclamation point if the compass accuracy is poor.
M
- Moonrise/Moonset - The time of day at which the moon will rise and set. This information is calculated for the specific geographic area where the GPS has acquired a 3-D fix.
N
- Next Stop - The label for the next stop. This will appear in the route directions.
- Next Turn - The label for the next turn. These will appear in the route directions. Also displays an arrow showing the direction of the turn/route direction information.
- Next Turn Arrow - The arrow representing the next turn. This will appear in the route directions.
O
- Off Course - The perpendicular distance between the current location and the route.
P
- Pressure: Ambient - The surrounding barometric pressure setting. Settings are controlled in the Units menu from the Device Setup Page.

- Speed - The current speed for which you are traveling.
- Speed: Average - The average speed of the device including stop time. Average Speed can be reset when you clear Trip Info.
- Speed: Maximum - The maximum speed achieved. Maximum Speed can be reset when you clear Trip Info.
- Speed: Moving Average - The average speed of the device excluding stop time. Moving Average can be reset when you clear Trip Info.
- Sunrise/Sunset - The time of day at which the sun will rise and set. This information is calculated for the specific geographic area where the GPS has acquired a 3-D fix.
T
- Time/Date - The time of day and date based on the current GPS location. Daylight Saving Time and time zone adjustments are accounted for.
- Time to Finish - The calculated time to the route finish based on road classifications and default speed settings.
- Time to Moonrise/set - The time remaining until the moon rises and sets. This information is calculated for the specific geographic area where the GPS has acquired a 3-D fix.
- Time to Next Stop - The calculated time to the next stop in the route based on road classifications and default speed settings.
- Time to Next Turn - The calculated time to the next turn in the route based on road classifications and default speed settings.
- Time to Sunrise/set - The time remaining until the sun rises and sets. This information is calculated for the specific geographic area where the GPS has acquired a 3-D fix.
- Trip: Odometer - The total distance the GPS device has been moving. Odometer can be reset when you clear Trip Info.
- Trip: Time Moving - The total time the GPS device has been moving. Time Moving can be reset when you clear Trip Info.
- Trip: Time Stopped - The total time the GPS has been tracking but not moving. Time Stopped can be reset when you clear Trip Info.
- Trip: Time Total - The total time the GPS has been tracking, both moving and stopped. Time Total can be reset when you clear Trip Info.

- Velocity Made Good - The component of the current speed that is in the direction of the route destination.
- Vertical Speed - The current rate of vertical travel for the device.
