Hunt/Fish Page

How do I get to the Hunt/Fish Page?

If you have the Hunt/Fish page enabled in Page Order, either press the PAGE button or the QUIT button to scroll through your screens until you get to the Hunt/Fish page. If the Hunt/Fish page is disabled in Page Order (default from factory), then press MENU button, use the UP/DOWN rocker pad to select Hunt/Fish, then press ENTER.

What is the Hunt and Fish Page

This page is suppose to predict the best/good times to hunt or fish.

What information is displayed.

The page is broken up into five sections: Time/Date, Current Position, Prediction, Best Times, and Good Times.

Time - When the page is first displayed, the Time field is set to the current time. This field is can not be changed.

Date - When the page is first displayed, the Date field is set to the current date. This field is used to update Prediction, Best Times, and Good Times sections.

To change the date, use the LEFT/RIGHT rocker pad to select Date, then press ENTER. Now use the UP/DOWN to change the selected digit, and the LEFT/RIGHT to select a different digit. When done, press ENTER.

Position - This section displays your current position, in the selected Primary Coordinate format. In the above screenshot, I had the Primary Coordinate set to UTM/UPS.

Prediction - This section tells you how good, or bad, of a day hunting/fishing should be for the selected Date. The four predictions are: Poor, Average, Good, and Excellent.

Best Times - This section lists the two best ranges of time to be hunting/fishing for the selected Date.

Good Times - This section lists the two good ranges of time to be hunting/fishing for the selected Date.

Resetting Date to current day

To reset the Date field to the current day, press MENU button, this should have the Reset Date highlighted, now press ENTER.
