  • If you have a fix and you are not panning the map, distance from your current position
  • If you are panning the map, distance from the (panning) pointer
  • If the GPS is off and you are not panning the map, distance from map center

If the list is sorted by distance, select Switch to Sort By Name to sort it by name.

If the list is sorted by name, select Switch to Sort by Distance to sort it by distance.

Only one of the two options appears on the menu. If you see Switch to Sort By Name, the list is currently sorted by distance. If you see Switch to Sort By Distance, the list is currently sorted by name.

Switch to Show Logged/Not Logged

You can display either the caches you have not yet logged (the default) or the caches you have logged.

  • The cache name. The image shows a cache with a long name. Only part of the name, "Hike With Mike on Qu..." is shown.
  • The coordinates of the cache. This cache is located at N38° 37.483 W090° 29.689.

Warning: The symbol determines whether this item is considered a cache or a waypoint. If you change the symbol to one which does not represent a cache type or a log type, the item will move from the Geocaches Page to the Waypoint Page. Similarly, if you change the symbol to one which represents a log type, the item will move from the not logged to logged geocaches list. Note, however, that the latter action //does not// create a field note. If you mark a cache found in this manner, it will not show up if you later upload your field notes to geocaching.com.
