DeLorme Cache Register
On June 3, 2009, DeLorme released its long-awaited Windows- and Mac-based application for managing Geocaching.com Pocket Queries and other Geocaching-related data, named Cache Register. The application is available as a $9.95 download purchase from the DeLorme online store. A single purchase of Cache Register allows you to download both the Mac and Windows versions. Features Cache Register allows you to:
- Download Pocket Queries (PQs) from Geocaching.com after they have been run directly into your PN-series device
- Remove all caches associated with a PQ from your PN-series device
- Automatically upload your Field Notes to Geocaching.com
- Import GPX files into your PN-series device
Cache Register tracks and cross-references caches between PQs; if a cache appears in multiple PQs which are stored in your device, the cache will only be removed from the device if all of those PQs are also removed.

Hardware Support
Cache Register supports both the PN-20 and PN-40 devices. Firmware version 1.6 is required for use with the PN-20 and Firmware version 2.5 is required for use with the PN-40.
Host Computer Support
Cache Register is the first application from DeLorme which has been released with native support for both Windows and MacOS.
Windows
Windows XP Service Pack 3 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 are the minimum requirements for running Cache Register for Windows.
MacOS
MacOS 10.4.x (Tiger) or later and an Intel processor is required to run Cache Register for Mac. Cache Register is a Dashboard Widget.
Tips & Tricks
- If you have run a PQ but it does not appear as Available, click Log Out and then Log In to refresh the list of available PQs.
Known Issues
- Cache Register does not work with HTTP proxies. It requires a direct connection to the Intenet.
